January 28 HOA Board meeting recap

Thanks to all who were able to attend our monthly HOA board meeting Tuesday night. Spectrum has agreed to provide WiFi service to the clubhouse and pool area which should be installed soon. Future board meetings will be available via zoom.

While much progress has been made, we know many residents are still in the process of restoration and renovation. While most outside storm debris has been removed there is still some landscaping cleanup to be done and Jon Addison has been addressing those issues.

Please remember that sandbags and storm shutters must be removed or stored at this point. In addition many of the villas have damaged or broken wooden gates and fences - some from storm damage but many have been in disrepair due to age. Residents can use alternative wood products when repairing or replacing gates and fences such as the manufactured wood products that we have been using to repair the adobe white wood fences around the pool/irrigation equipment. While slightly more expensive than regular wood, these products are much lighter in weight, much more durable than wood and when painted look identical to existing wood. These product are readily available at Home Depot or Lowe’s and if you have any question about these products please contact Tom for more information.

If anyone needs paint for fences, gates or stucco the neighborhood paint colors are:

PP&G Masonry: Adobe White # 1100-2
PP&G Trim: Ole Towne # HGSW3162

PP&G paint is available at Home Depot. The Home Depot brand Behr paint can also be substituted for PP&G.

We know a number units have either been sold or will soon be going on the market. All necessary HOA governing documents, rules and regulations and other forms necessary for owners are available on our new website www.FeathercoveHOA.com.
Please remember that the HOA must have up to date contact information for all owners. Owners who rent their units also must provide the HOA a copy of their lease agreement and contact information for tenants.

There have been a number of maintenance issues around the pool and clubhouse that have been repaired including tile repair on the pool, the pool pavers have been cleaned and resealed and pool equipment upgrades. The pool has been working perfectly and has been warm despite the recent cold weather. There have also been repairs made to both clubhouse bathrooms and Jon continues to make necessary repairs to our irrigation system.

As everyone has noticed construction on the Roosevelt Creek Channel 5 Project on the canal continues and has been quite loud with a lot of traffic congestion from heavy equipment they have brought in. It appears they are nearing completion of installing the temporary damn which should help with noise but this project still has a long way to go.

We hope hope everyone has great and hopefully warmer February.
