March 25th HOA Board Meeting Recap

We want to extend our thanks to everyone who was able to attend last Tuesday’s monthly HOA Board meeting. A special thank you goes out to Sentry for providing light snacks and helping support our meeting. We’re also happy to share that the Zoom option for our meetings is now fully functional for those who prefer to attend virtually.

Over the past month, we’ve seen a significant number of architectural change requests, particularly for window and door replacements. We appreciate everyone using the change request form available on our website:

www.FeatherCoveHOA.com

and submitting all required supporting documents.

As a reminder, any external change to your home requires HOA approval. The Rules and Regulations on our website outline what is permitted. If you have any questions about your project, please don’t hesitate to contact the Board first.

With storm season preparations already underway, we know scheduling repairs can be challenging. To help streamline approvals, residents are encouraged to send their change requests directly to Tom for faster review and response.

We recently completed a regular maintenance check on our clubhouse A/C system. While it's currently functioning well, it was noted that the system is now 16 years old—which, as we all know, is quite old for Florida. As a precaution, the Board has approved reallocating a portion of our reserve funds for its future replacement, though we hope to get a few more good years from it.

Angie and Jon are currently reviewing all tree trimming requests. We will prioritize based on safety and budget. Please note that Jon completed extensive trimming and post-storm cleanup last year, which played a huge role in reducing storm damage. His work continues to make a meaningful impact in our community.

Due to last year’s storms, we postponed the routine power washing of sidewalks and driveways. We are now working to reschedule this in the coming weeks and will notify everyone once the schedule is confirmed.

Lastly, we still have several older pool lounge chairs available on the back patio. These are free to any resident who would like one. Any unclaimed chairs remaining by next week will be donated to a local charity.

Wishing everyone a Happy Easter, and we look forward to seeing you at our next Board meeting!
